Understanding P1 Registration Phases
Phase 1
Early JulyFor children with a sibling currently studying in the same primary school. Guaranteed placement — no balloting.
Phase 2A(1)
Mid JulyFor children whose parent is an alumnus who joined the alumni association before the registration year.
Phase 2A(2)
Mid JulyFor children whose parent is a former student, a parent of a former student, or currently a staff member of the school.
Phase 2B
Late JulyFor children whose parent is a parent volunteer (min 40 hours), community leader, or endorsed by a church/clan associated with the school.
Phase 2C
Early AugustOpen to all children who have not secured a place in earlier phases. This is the most common phase for parents without prior affiliation.
Phase 2C Supplementary
Mid AugustFinal phase for children who did not get a place in Phase 2C. Limited to schools with remaining vacancies.
